Homework is considered an integral part of the educational process.  Incomplete, late, or missing homework may negatively impact a student’s grade. In the event of an absence, students are responsible for getting work that they may have missed. After returning from an absence, students must take initiative to make the necessary arrangements for the completion of all missed assignments. The amount of time for the completion will be determined by the teacher.

Students may experience homework in the following ways:

●   Activities to review or preview skills and concepts taught in class

●   Activities designed to support the completion of longer term projects

Finally, it is the expectation that every Suder student read a self-selected book for twenty minutes each day, whether independently or with the support of a caregiver.  Reading with your child can promote a positive disposition towards reading in your child and create a lifetime of memories to cherish.
